Twisted Path Vodka: A Soft Sipping Vodka
Vodka is often defined as a neutral spirit, but the best vodkas retain a subtle hint of their underlying ingredients. Our vodka has a subtle butterscotch note, along with a soft, round, slightly sweet body. It’s not enough to overpower a cocktail, but clearly present when sipped.

Distilling vodka is much more technically demanding than whiskey or rum - it requires a more complicated still, and the nature of the resulting vodka is more dependent on the precise nature of the still itself. When we first opened, we made vodka on a small (26 gallon) still with a column scraping the ceiling. Over the next 5 years, we built and experimented with innumerable configurations of the still, and 5 different columns on different pot stills. Playing with both equipment and ingredient variations. Ultimately, we found a configuration of a 12 plate column we built ourselves and integrated into our 4 plate 300 gallon steam still. To make our vodka, we distill slowly through all 16 plates. The result is distilling ALMOST but not quite all the character out of our organic corn mash. That tiny bit of remaining character is what makes our vodka distinctive.ion text goes here
